Our Review Criteria
How we analyze the documentation to estimate if eclipse glasses appear to comply with the regulations (Documentary Compliance)
Laboratory Report
There must be a valid test report demonstrating strict compliance with the EN ISO 12312-2:2015 standard, issued by an accredited laboratory based in the EU.
Identification and Model
The physical product must show clear manufacturer information, the CE mark, and the Model printed on the glasses must exactly match the one evaluated in the certificate.
European Representative
For manufacturers located outside the European Union, there must be an officially designated and registered Authorized Representative within the EU.
Blue Guide (OBM)
The product and its supply chain must fully comply with the trade regulations and directives of the European Union's 'Blue Guide'.
